I would like to invite you, yes you reading this to come and learn about Ultra Running. WTF is Ultra Running ? Have you ever wondered if you just kept running, how far your body would take you? Ultra Running is running any distance greater than the traditional Marathon (26 Miles/ 42.7 KM). Runs are 50,100,200 Miles? Why and how do you think people run that far ? Come find out. The “Sport” of Ultra Running began with a battle to save an empire and a horse that broke down, no joke. Ultra Running though it may not seem it is a very inclusive sport, something that everyone and anyone can do. In the words of Yogi Berra “It’s 90 Percent mental and the other 10% is all in your head “. It’s your mind that carries your body, though you would think it would be the other way around. There will be no mandatory “coolaid” at this event, just some good warm, honest talk about a wonderful sport that has changed my life. I’m bringing a friend who I think will tell you the same. All are welcome no running experience required :)
